POLICE Officer 2 Bensaudi Sakiran of the Talipao, Sulu PNP was arrested with Alnasser Labor, Garwas Tulwaie, Kibar Pala, and Hassan Cabrera after they had ganged up on and shot dead Abdulhamin Bandahala, an assistant operations liaison officer of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao ports authority based in Cotabato City.
PNP spokesman Chief Supt. Agrimero Cruz Jr. said the incident happened at around 7:45 a.m. on Monday at the Azenith Royal Hotel along Gov. Camins Avenue. Sakiran’s group and Bandahala argued over the availability of hotel rooms and came to blows before the shooting.
Responding policemen recovered a .9 mm pistol from Sakiran. The suspects are now detained at the Zamboanga City Police Office. – Raymond Africa
